[1] July 7 -- Hopes Greene will have something to give Mrs. Cleveland for her volume. Offers to take it to Boston. Is not able to contribute himself; Mrs. Cleveland has mistaken his interest for an offer of aid. [2] July 11 -- "If you have anything for Mrs. Cleveland, which you can send by the bearer, I shall be glad to take it this afternoon."
